A work in progress...

Back in February, (the day of my wedding anniversary; February 25 to be exact), I had a grease fire in my kitchen and some of my almost brand new cabinets burned including my microwave and stove.

Finally, after months of planning and redesigning my very small kitchen space (no need to mention square footage), here is the end result.

I'm still missing few details: more crown molding, baseboard and of course more wood embellishments for my so functional but plain island. In all honesty, I'm not done yet. As a matter of fact, I'll never be done with fixing and decorating my home. It's a work in progress 'til the day I take my last breath.

But for right now, I'm very pleased with my creation.
